John Rushton has been composing and producing for over 20 years. His music has been used worldwide in various prime time TV programmes and commercials, including the award winning drama series, Moving On (UK/BBC), Kizim/My Daughter, Nordic drama, A Good Family, Finnish drama series, Helsinki Syndrome, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Mary Berry Cooks, Dragon’s Den, The Repair Shop & more. As a diverse composer, he carefully fuses electronics with organic sounds & instruments, creating unique sonic worlds

John recently worked with award winning animator, Sophia Kyriacou as sound designer for FACE, a hyper-real CGI conceptual film driven by silent thought-provoking emotion where the creator opens a window to their Autistic world. 

He is one half of creative duo, Mātu, with violinist and composer, Diana Yukawa and he also recently collaborated with Diana on her latest album ‘Spirals’ which was released on 1631 recordings distributed by Decca Records / Universal Music Group)
